Premier League End-of-the-Season Award Winners
After the last games on Saturday, the English Premier League has come to an end. Manchester City FC claimed the title after a hard-fought title challenge with Arsenal Football Club. Many players and managers alike who had an exceptional season were awarded. Here’s a list of them :
Title winners: Manchester City
After losing 0-1 to Nottingham Forest, Arsenal saw their title charge slip from their hands as Manchester City was declared the English Premier League winner for the third consecutive season. Manchester City overall won 28 matches. They played five draws and suffered five losses. Pep’s team had the best attack in the division and the joint-best defensive record. This was their fifth league title under the Spanish manager.
Golden Boot : Erling Braut Haaland

Manchester City’s number 9 was the top scorer of the 2022/2023 Premier League season. Haaland’s numbers showed how ruthless he was in front of goal. Haaland scored 36 goals breaking the all-time record for the most goals in a single Premier League campaign in his debut season.
He scored four hattricks through the season one of which was in the Manchester derby with United. The Norwegian attacker did all of that during the 35 matches he played this season.
Premier League Player of the Season: Erling Haaland
The Premier League Golden Boot winner has had a season to remember. There were doubts during his signing to Manchester City as many thought he would not do well in the most “competitive league in the world.” But the Norwegian forward justified the hype he got.
The numbers speak for themselves. Four hattricks and 36 goals speak volumes. The bullish striker was the sensation of the season.
Playmaker of the season: Kevin De Bruyne

The Belgium International won the Castrol Playmaker of the Season.
Kevin De Bruyne became the sixth player to reach 100 assists in the Premier League. The 31-year-old recorded 16 assists this season, helping Manchester City to clinch the title.
The Manchester City midfielder assisted four more than any other player in the league.
Golden Glove: David de Gea

David de Gea won the best goalkeeper for the 2022/2023 Premier League season.
The Red Devil’s shot-stopper was crucial in Man United’s solid run in the Premier League. He had 17 clean sheets and was instrumental in United securing a top-four finish. Man United finished third in the league.
The Spaniard saved 101 shots during the 38 matches he played.
Manager of the season: Pep Guardiola

Pep Guardiola has won the Premier League Manager of the Season for the fourth time.
The Spaniard has done a wonderful job with his Man City team. He clinched the award after leading his team to a third consecutive Premier League title after an interesting title challenge with Mikel Arteta of Arsenal.
Other contenders for the award were Mikel Arteta of Arsenal and Eddie Howe of Newcastle United who led his team to the Champions League after a terrific season.
